One of the most intriguing matchups in the first round of the NBA playoffs is, without a doubt, the Los Angeles Clippers going up against the Phoenix Suns.

The first-round battle between these division rivals will be must-see TV for basketball fans, with some of the best players in the game going head-to-head.

Although Paul George will almost certainly miss the entire first round due to injury, the star forward gave his assessment of Kevin Durant and the most underrated part of the two-time NBA champion’s game.

Even before the Suns made the blockbuster trade for Durant ahead of February’s NBA trade deadline, Phoenix was considered a threat in the Western Conference with Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton leading the way.

Adding the superstar forward into the mix makes Phoenix arguably the team to beat in the West, if not in the entire playoffs, as it will be nearly impossible to successfully contain every one of their stars, especially Durant when he’s playing at a high level.

George pointing out Durant’s playmaking ability is an interesting wrinkle to this first-round playoff matchup, as he’s known for his remarkable scoring ability rather than being able to make his teammates better with his passing.

If Durant is 100% healthy and ready to prove that he’s still one of the best all-around players in the game, the Clippers will be in trouble right out of the gate in this series, as it could be over very quickly, especially if George isn’t able to return to the floor as expected.
