Aaron Rodgers has been one of the most discussed players during the 2023 NFL offseason.
He has declared his intention to play for the New York Jets, but, over a month after his declaration, a deal has not been completed.
While the conversation has cooled as of late, Ian Rapoport has indicated that the end might be near ahead of the NFL Draft.
After a dormant couple weeks, the #Jets and #Packers recently re-engaged on trade talks surrounding star QB Aaron Rodgers, sources say. A deal is not imminent, but the two sides are at least talking — with hopes a deal can (finally) be done this week.

As Rapoport states, the Jets and the Green Bay Packers have recently resumed their conversations.
Fans of both teams have been anxiously waiting for this decision, wondering what the trade compensation for Rodgers will look like.
Packers fans would like this decision to be completed quickly, so the team can prepare ahead of the draft.
Jets fans have also indicated that they would like a decision to be made soon, just so they have a quarterback finalized.
Ahead of Rodgers joining the team, the Jets have added both Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman to their receiving room.
The Jets also took Garrett Wilson in the 2022 draft, who made an instant impact on their roster, and is slated to be a viable option this year as well.
Many analysts have viewed the Jets as a nearly complete roster, but have been missing a quarterback to tie the team together.
Last season, the Jets had one of the best defenses in the league but finished the year with a 7-10 record.
Assuming that Rodgers does join their roster, will the Jets be able to make a splash in the AFC, given the number of dominant quarterbacks within the conference?
