In recent years, the Seattle Mariners have enjoyed a bit of a renaissance.
The team had not reached the postseason in 21 years before finally clinching a spot in October last season.
But with stars such as Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh, Luis Castillo, Teoscar Hernandez, and Jarred Kelenic, the team is prepared for a new era of success.
And while they are at it, they revealed some new uniforms.
These are their Nike City Connect uniforms, which several teams have revealed over the years.
On Twitter, the Mariners posted a photo collage featuring some of their star players donning these beautiful new uniforms.
For Seattle. For the PNW.

Instead of “Mariners” on the front, the jersey reads “Seattle” in yellow.
The uniforms are also blue, similar to their alternate hats and throwback uniforms.
The hat features a yellow “M” that is uniquely shaped as a trident.
On the side of the jerseys is a patch that reads “PNW”, which stands for “Pacific Northwest”, paying homage to the geographic location of the Mariners and T-Mobile Park.
There is also a yellow trim on the lower portion of the sleeves, directly under the Pacific Northwest patch.
The Mariners are just the latest team to reveal their new City Connect uniforms.
Soon, the Pittsburgh Pirates will reveal theirs.
The Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves have also revealed theirs this year, and as the season progresses, we will likely see more teams bust out their new City Connect uniforms as they attempt to honor their past while also create a futuristic design.
