LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had plenty of reasons to celebrate after beating the Memphis Grizzlies.
In a series that turned out to be very favorable for them, the 17-time NBA champions beat the No. 2 seed in the West in six games.
It was an intense back-and-forth between the two teams, but mostly off the court.
Following his tense interactions with most of the Grizzlies team, LeBron made a decision right before Game 6 (and the series) finished.

Some fans had something to say about this. While some said that the Grizzlies didn’t earn James’ respect, others said that LeBron simply moved on without making a lot of noise.
Has nothing to say to Memphis Grizzlies after the circus..

Appreciate LeBron James while we still have him on the court. This is most likely something that we won’t see again for a very long time!

Even he was embarrassed for the Grizzlies

No respect given. None earned. On to the next.

If you come at the king you best not miss. Usually he respects his competition but he clearly has zero respect for the all bark & no bite

James and co. had to see how the Grizzlies tried to bring them down with their comments.
Dillon Brooks became a villain after his team won Game 2 only to blast the media for creating a wrong image of him following Game 4.
The King paid attention to all of that, and after the series was over, he didn’t want to entertain anything or anybody outside of his team.
Anthony Davis did send a big message to the Grizzlies, taking a jab at them for talking before the series was over.

Now the Lakers are focused on the second round, although they don’t have a rival to face yet.
Still, James will face this challenge as they did before, especially knowing that the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings have unfinished business with the Lakers.
As the playoffs advance, the intensity of duels will as well, and the Lakers and their superstar are ready for any challenge.
