The Phoenix Suns suffered a humbling defeat against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena.
When everybody thought they were set to beat Nikola Jokic and co., Jamal Murray showed up and gave his team the first win of the series.
While Murray was incredible for his team, others believe there were more reasons why the Suns couldn’t win.
Kevin Durant, for example, took the blame and said that his turnovers were costly for his team.
“I only had one assist and seven turnovers. We’re not going to win basketball games like that,” Durant said. “I gotta be way more careful with the ball.”

He was well aware that he hurt his team. Durant was stripped from the ball many times, especially by Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun.
They also struggled with rebounds, but that wasn’t his fault.
Deandre Ayton didn’t have a good performance, often giving up second chances at the rim.
Durant vowed that they will turn around this situation, starting this Monday.
This series has everything to be the best of the second round, but that will depend on how the Suns respond.
Going down 0-2 wouldn’t be the end for this team, but it’s better to go home 1-1.
Durant, Chris Paul, and Devin Booker were unable to change the game, and Jamal Murray took over.
If Durant and co. can return to their best form, Phoenix will surely put a lot of pressure on Denver.
