In just a matter of weeks, numerous NBA teams will be competing in the playoffs and fighting for a spot in the Finals.
However, according to Kevin Wildes, only one team has a real chance to win the title.
Speaking on “First Things First,” Wildes said that the Denver Nuggets are the team with the biggest chance to claim a championship this year.
His reasoning for this prediction is the team’s record since the All-Star break, their home-court advantage, and the averages of each player.
He also said that the team’s consistent lineup really helps them, especially when compared to squads like the Milwaukee Bucks, who are still adjusting to their roster.

When the Nuggets play at home, they are wildly hard to beat.
Over the last two seasons, including playoffs, they have a 71-14 record, which is first in the league.
They also have a +9.6 point differential and a 50.8% field-goal percentage when at home.
If they hold onto the top spot in the West, they will be at home a lot during the playoffs and that will really help their chances.
The starting five of the Nuggets are also perhaps the best in the league, led by powerhouse Nikola Jokic.
For a number of reasons, the Nuggets are in a great position to reach and win the Finals
But that doesn’t mean their success is guaranteed.
Multiple other teams in the Western Conference are going to put up quite a fight to earn a spot in the championship.
And NBA fans remember that there have been numerous times when the odds-on favorites haven’t been able to deliver on all their promise and potential.
The Nuggets might have a great chance of repeating their success from last season but they aren’t going to take anything for granted.
