The Dallas Mavericks faced the Denver Nuggets on Sunday afternoon and Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving came to play.
When the game was over, Doncic scored 37 points and 10 rebounds, while Irving put up 24 points, including a shocking game-winner in the closing seconds.
On Monday morning, Stephen A. Smith called Doncic and Irving “the scariest” duo in the NBA.
“I’m gonna go with Kyrie and Luka, the scariest. I didn’t say better. I know [Nikola] Jokic and [Jamal] Murray are better… When those two get rolling, you can’t stop them… There’s no answer for them,” Smith said, via ClutchPoints.

Smith said that other teams know exactly what Doncic and Irving are going to do and they still can’t stop them.
When these two players are hot from the field, there is nothing that can get in their way.
No sort of defensive plan can limit them, even one from the intimidating Nuggets.
That was evident on Sunday afternoon.
The game was very close and the Nuggets looked like they were on the verge of a tight victory but then Irving was able to work through the defense and put up a wildly tough shot.
As for Doncic, he was shooting 44.4% from the field and 45.5% from beyond the three-point line.
For years now, Doncic has made a name for himself as someone who can play well despite the best-laid plans of opponents.
The combination of him and Doncic is just too much for most other teams in the league.
Smith said that the combination of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray is technically better but he stated that no one is scarier than Doncic and Irving when they are playing well.
