The NBA playoffs are right around the corner and that means in a few months, fans will be enjoying this year’s Finals.
A number of teams seem to have what it takes to go far in the playoffs, but who is capable of going all the way?
On “Undisputed,” former NBA star Paul Pierce said that he thinks the Boston Celtics have the ability to win a championship this year.
He admits that the Denver Nuggets will be very challenging but he thinks his former team could win it all in a seven-game series.

Pierce doesn’t see a way that any team in the Eastern or Western Conference can push past the Nuggets and the Celtics.
He believes that these two squads are on a collision course to meet in the championship.
Conventional wisdom definitely suggests that the Nuggets and Celtics have the best shot of reaching the Finals, but of course, nothing is a foregone conclusion.
Other teams could surprise the NBA and overcome the odds, just like the Miami Heat did last season.
But right now, the smart money is definitely on these two teams.
Some people might think that Pierce is biased because he played for the Celtics for so many seasons.
Yet his claim is solid because Boston remains the best team in the league, with a 53-14 record.
However, they have looked great for several years now and have always come up short of reaching their ultimate goal.
While it is true that they look even better and stronger this year, there is still concern that they might not be able to go as far as they wish.
But if the Celtics make good on Pierce’s prediction, they will officially be the team with the most championships in NBA history.
