For most of Stephen Curry’s career, the Golden State Warriors were focused on getting a top-four seed in the Western Conference.

Times have changed, and the Dubs are now keeping tabs on the final ticket to the Play-In Tournament.

That’s why Steve Kerr’s team must secure their berth by taking down the Utah Jazz tonight.

As shown by NBA Communications, the Warriors can secure a top-10 seed with a win or a Houston Rockets loss.

They could also lock in on a Play-In Tournament game with a loss and a Rockets loss or a win and a Phoenix Suns win.

The Rockets would be eliminated with a loss or a Warriors win, and the Los Angeles Clippers could clinch a playoff spot with a win and a loss by the New Orleans Pelicans.

At the end of the day, it’s highly unlikely that the Warriors won’t make the Play-In Tournament, barring a catastrophe.

They would most likely square off against the Los Angeles Lakers, and whoever wins that series would then have to face either the Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, or Oklahoma City Thunder, with all three teams still in play for the No. 1 seed.

Whatever the case, this Warriors team doesn’t look poised to go deep in the playoffs, as they’ve struggled with inconsistency throughout the course of the entire season.

Then again, you definitely don’t want to bet against Stephen Curry in a seven-game series, not even if the rest of his supporting cast hasn’t been up to the task this season.
