The Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves are set to face off in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night.
Both of these teams have been ascending for the last few years and this series will be a chance for one to go all the way to the Finals.
On “First Things First,” Chris Broussard spoke about the series and predicted that the Timberwolves would win it all in six games.
He said the Mavericks will face a level of defense they haven’t experienced yet in the playoffs.
He thinks that will limit Dallas and give Minnesota the advantage.

Broussard reminded viewers that the Oklahoma City Thunder gave the Mavericks some troubles during their recent series.
But the Timberwolves will be even tougher than the Thunder because they are bigger and stronger.
They will be able to rebound more and protect the rim in ways that the Thunder couldn’t.
The Timberwolves’ number one goal is to minimize Luka Doncic as much as possible.
Of course, that isn’t an easy task but if anyone can do it, it’s the Timberwolves.
Minnesota will attempt to shut Doncic down from the perimeter and use their tall and strong roster to limit the team in the paint.
Additionally, they will drive up the score with their multiple talented shooters.
This is a smart plan and could lead them to victory but no one should count out the Mavericks and their ability to score even with a tough defense fighting them.
This series will be a chance for both teams to show what they are capable of and play to their strengths.
But in the end, only one will be triumphant.
