The NBA is where amazing happens.
Every year, a team or a player makes history, and there’s nothing definitive, not even when it looks like it.
However, there’s something that’s never been done in this league yet, and that’s coming back from a 0-3 deficit in the playoffs.
That’s bound to happen at some point, and the Boston Celtics almost pulled it off last season.
Now, it’ll be the Minnesota Timberwolves’ turn to make a run at that record, and Naz Reid likes their chances.
Following another heartbreaking loss, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year stated that if anyone could win four in a row, it was the Minnesota Timberwolves (via Dave McMenamin).
Naz Reid: “If anyone can win four straight in this scenario, I think it’s us”

You have to appreciate the confidence, and you have to compete as hard as you can for as long as you have a chance.
Still, if the rest of the players don’t embrace that same mentality and play with the same fire he plays with, that’s just not going to happen.
Reid has been quite solid throughout this series, stepping up on defense, and knocking down big shots on offense.
The rest of their stars haven’t followed along.
Anthony Edwards has been good on defense and as a playmaker, but it took him until Game 3 to finally get over his scoring slump.
As for Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert, one was literally benched for the final nine minutes of a close game, and the other has been moved around the court for three games in a row.
