Everyone’s Laughing At Karl-Anthony Towns’ Practice Claim

The Minnesota Timberwolves are in big trouble right now, and the worst part is that they seem to have lost their confidence.

Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid took matters into their own hands in Game 3, but the other stars fell short again.

That was particularly true for Karl-Anthony Towns, who shot 0-for-8 from beyond the three-point line.

When asked about that, Towns claimed that he was going to keep shooting because he trusted his shot.

He then added that he’s been shooting 1,500 shots a day, and the internet just wasn’t buying it (via Bleacher Report).

It didn’t take long before people called him out online.

The Inside the NBA crew also called him out as well, with Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley debunking his theory.

Shooters shoot, so it makes sense that Towns stays true to his game.

However, good players also need to adapt, and his offensive repertoire is more than just that.

Also, a seven-footer with touch should be able to get his points regardless of his struggles from beyond the arc.

Whatever the case, Towns’ attempt to redeem himself backfired badly, and it’ll be very difficult to turn the narrative about him around at this point after so many character issues, shortcomings, and questionable interviews.
