The New York Knicks were arguably the most fun team to watch and root for during the 2023-24 NBA season because their players and the fans brought so much energy each and every game.

Things got even more raucous in New York when the team made the postseason and advanced past the first round to take on the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Knicks and Pacers had a storied rivalry during the 1990s that featured Patrick Ewing and Reggie Miller, and this year’s iteration of the matchup didn’t disappoint as it went to seven games.

Unfortunately for New York, the injuries and wear and tear caught up to them in Game 7 as they looked a half-step slower than Indiana, who got out to a big lead and never looked back.

However, the Pacers didn’t do much after beating the Knicks as they got swept in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.

Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson revealed they spoke to Tyrese Haliburton about their playoff series recently, with Hart joking about the series of events that unfolded after, via “Roommates Show.”

Hart wasn’t speaking maliciously, though did sound a little bitter that the team that beat his didn’t put up a better showing.

Fortunately, the Knicks are set up to run it back with the same group and it’ll be fun to see if they can do better next season.
