The Green Bay Packers were one of the biggest question marks in the NFL last season.
Not having Aaron Rodgers there made people think that they wouldn’t even sniff the postseason, and that obviously wasn’t the case.
The Packers closed out the year on a high note, with Jordan Love overcoming his early season struggles to play as one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
Also, despite their youth, they were quite close to making it to the NFC Championship Game.
With that in mind, NFL analysts Mina Kimes and Kevin Clark agreed that Matt LaFleur could be considered a top-five head coach in today’s game.
Where does Matt LaFleur rank amongst NFL coaches right now?
Both @ByKevinClark and I think he has a case to crack the top five….

They praised him for maximizing Aaron Rodgers and getting two MVPs out of him, all while developing Jordan Love and helping him blossom into the future star we’re seeing right now.
They also gave LaFleur his flowers for finding and using young players in the best way possible, with most of them not even being first-round picks, and he’s still developing them and helping them make an impact on the team.
The Packers featured plenty of rookies or second-year players en route to the postseason, and it takes some elite coaching to do that.
LaFleur was also able to showcase and give us a better glimpse of his offense now that Rodgers was gone, and no one really trusted them to be a good team right after their future Hall of Famer quarterback left.
The future is bright in Lambeau Field, and a lot of that has to do with their coach.
