Analyst Says AFC Team Can Be ‘Extremely Dangerous’ In The Playoffs

The Buffalo Bills entered the season as a Super Bowl-or-bust kind of team.

And while plenty of things have happened ever since, the reality is that they should still have the same mindset going forward.

They haven’t made the playoffs yet, but they’re the kind of team that could just get hot and go the distance in the postseason according to NFL analyst Chris Simms (via Kevin Clark).

“Buffalo, they are extremely well coached on defense. They have a deep, defensive line. They can’t play man to man, but McDermott’s a master of creating awesome zones, so they are dangerous,” Simms said.

“There’s some people on TV who want to blame it on Josh Allen and I don’t know what you’re watching. Simms said that Allen doesn’t have a top-five wide receiver, stating that Stefon Diggs is top-10 at best because he’s not an elite playmaker.

He also said that Allen is one of the most talented players in the history of the game and questioned the intelligence and knowledge of those who think otherwise, stating that he just doesn’t know what those people are watching.

Simms believes the only other player who can throw the football like Josh Allen is Patrick Mahomes.

Add a well-coached and stacked defensive line, and you have a team that could be a huge threat out of the AFC if they reach the playoffs.

The Bills hit a brick wall earlier in the season and it became evident that something needed to change.

They made some tweaks and let Ken Dorsey go, and their offense has looked better and more efficient than ever.

So, even though some are still reluctant to give this team the nod, you definitely don’t want to see Josh Allen on the opposite side of the field when the season is on the line.
