The Dallas Cowboys were one of the biggest powerhouses in the NFL decades ago.
Now, they’re just one of the most valuable and popular sports franchises on Earth, but they don’t have that much hardware to show for that.
That’s why former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. believes Cowboys owner Jerry Jones isn’t doing his team any favors by constantly talking about winning Super Bowls.
He shared his take on The Carton Show.

The retired guard states that Jones is putting a lot of pressure on his team, adding that they should be talking about being good, performing well, winning some games, and taking it one game at a time.
Per Hardaway, all that talk about winning Super Bowls only hurts the team, which is why the rest of the league laughs at them when they ultimately fall short of their goal.
Notably, the former NBA star could have a valid point right there, as it’s been a very long while since this team was actually poised to contend for a Super Bowl.
On the other hand, that’s just what happens when you play for such a storied franchise; they’ll hold you to a certain standard, and you’ll have to be able to deal with that kind of pressure.
Then again, it would obviously be better if the guy putting that pressure on you and your teammates would actually do something to help you achieve that goal, which has rarely been the case under the Jerry Jones administration.
