Bears Rookie WR Has An Honest Opinion About D.J. Moore

The Chicago Bears have been one of the most active teams during the NFL’s offseason.

With significant cap space in mind, the Bears were able to capitalize, landing several free agents on both sides of the ball.

One of the players that they added during the offseason was D.J. Moore, who was acquired during a trade with the Carolina Panthers.

A lot is expected of Moore in his first season with the Bears, as he is the assumed WR1 for Justin Fields.

In a recent podcast appearance, Bears rookie Tyler Scott gave significant praise to what he has seen from Moore thus far.

It appears that Scott and the rest of his teammates have learned a lot from Moore’s career experience.

Scott discussed Moore’s confidence, saying “He just kind of plays like he knows what he’s doing.”

Moore was a first-round pick in 2018, spending the first five years of his career with the Panthers.

He has posted three separate 1,000-yard seasons, something the Bears have been lacking as of late.

The organization is very confident in Justin Fields’ ability to lead this team, not only as a passer but as a strong rushing quarterback to boot.

Making an investment in a player like Moore indicates that they’re ready for Fields to take the next step in his third NFL season.

Can Moore elevate Fields’ game enough for the Bears to have a legitimate chance at the NFC North title?
