It has been a wild season for the Buffalo Bills, who were once considered to be the best team in the NFL earlier in the 2023 campaign, as they were able to play top-tier football on both ends.
After another disappointing loss where they couldn’t get the best of Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, there’s no telling what the Bills will do on a weekly basis once they get on the football field, as this team has been erratic and inconsistent.
With the Bills now sporting a 5-4 record while playing some mediocre football, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that this once-title contender may miss the NFL playoffs entirely.
As if that wasn’t bad enough for Buffalo, the team got some more bad news heading into their game against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, with star wide receiver Stefon Diggs showing up on the team’s injury report, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Injuries have already taken a massive toll on the Bills on the defensive side of the football, with numerous key players going down, and the last thing that needs to happen is some of their best offensive players dealing with injuries as well.
Back injuries can be tricky, especially for a player who relies on speed and quickness like Diggs, so even if he does play against the Broncos, he might not be anywhere near 100%.
Fortunately, the Bills are playing the lowly Broncos instead of one of the heavyweights in the AFC, so they might be able to slide by, but Denver did beat the Kansas City Chiefs recently.
