The Los Angeles Clippers took down the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in one of the most anticipated and pivotal games of the season.
There were many important players with the Clippers who made success possible, including Norman Powell (27 points), Kawhi Leonard (25 points), and Ivica Zubac (17 points).
One of the most crucial players for the team was Bones Hyland, who put up 14 points during his 20 minutes.
A video tweeted by NBA writer Tomar Azarly shows that Hyland was asked by reporter Justin Russo if “today was a Bones day” following the big win.
Hyland, humble as always, said, “Nah, man. Clippers day. It’s a Clippers day.”

Hyland came to the Clippers from the Denver Nuggets a couple of months ago.
He has adjusted well to his new team.
He is now averaging 10.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists with about 18 minutes per game.
He played for a season-and-a-half with the Nuggets after being drafted in the first round in 2021.
He was doing quite well in Denver.
But as his profile rose, so did the chances of Hyland leaving the team.
He was looking for one that could give him more time on the court and more responsibility.
So far, he hasn’t gotten those coveted minutes.
In fact, he was getting more than 19 per game while with the Nuggets, which means he is getting less time on the court in LA.
He has also yet to start in a single game for the Clippers.
Still, his personality and enthusiasm remain as friendly and bright as ever.
Hyland has become a fan favorite because of his skill and his charm.
There was clear evidence of both on Wednesday night.
