Bronny James’ draft potential looks a lot better now that he’s had a great time at the NBA Combine but it’s still not clear what his rookie season will be like.

He has big expectations to live up to and will try to escape from underneath his father’s enormous shadow.

When asked what his NBA2K rating should be by Bleacher Report, James gave a confident answer.

He said that his rating should be 81, according to Legion Hoops.

That would be a very exceptional rating for the player and much higher than most other NBA rookies.

The highest-rated rookie of all time was San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, who earned an 84 before the start of last season.

Of course, Wembanyama also had a ton of hype surrounding him and he lived up to it all.

The hype around James is completely different, mostly having to do with his father, LeBron, and not his skills on the court.

With that being said, James has done some terrific work during the recent combine and has impressed a ton of scouts throughout the league.

During his singular year in college, James averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Those numbers were disappointing to many, especially considering who James’ dad was.

That meant that many people thought he might not even make the cut for this year’s draft.

But his recent work has given him a lot of momentum and he is climbing through the ranks of the draft.

However, does that mean he will gain an 81 2K rating or anything close to it?
