Ever since Charles Barkley called it a career as a superstar player in the NBA, the Hall of Famer has been one of the most entertaining personalities in professional sports while being the main attraction on “Inside the NBA” on TNT.
Along with being one of the funniest and uncensored analysts and sports personalities on television, Barkley has had his opportunities to get back into the league in some capacity.
During a recent appearance on The Dan Patrick Show, Barkley admitted that he interviewed for three different front-office jobs in the league in the past, but those teams weren’t willing to give him what he wanted, which was complete control.
“I’ve interviewed for three front office jobs… it’s been probably been about five or seven years,” Barkley said. “But I wanted complete control.”

At this point in time, it doesn’t seem like Barkley would consider taking one of those front-office jobs in the league, as he appears content with what he’s doing as an NBA analyst while making a ton of money in the process.
However, “Inside the NBA” could soon be coming to an end, with TNT seemingly ready to move on from NBA coverage, which would do away with one of the most popular shows that talk about the league and it’s teams and players during the regular season and throughout the NBA playoffs.
Only time will tell what will happen with the popular show and it’s hosts, but things don’t look good moving forward, as it could be the end for “Inside the NBA” and all the hilarity that ensues on the show on a nightly basis.
