The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl champions.
After an impressive comeback victory in the big game, the Chiefs are looking to repeat.
We rarely see a team repeat as champions, as the last time was in 2003-04 with the New England Patriots.
But, the Chiefs have a great chance to join them this season.
Kansas City will be Super Bowl contenders as long as they have quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
He is the best in the game, and the Chiefs can beat anyone with him under center.
Also, the Chiefs are lucky to have an elite head coach in Andy Reid.
He is a two-time Super Bowl champion and has established himself as one of the greatest coaches of all time.
Pro Football Focus released their pre-draft NFL power rankings, and you can assume who was number one.

While the Chiefs deserve the top spot, they will have stiff competition next year.
The Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills should both be very good again.
Also, the AFC West is one of the toughest divisions in football.
It will be interesting to see if these rankings change at all post-draft.
That is when most NFL teams will have their rosters together for the 2023 season.
Kansas City has been so great over the years because of their ability to draft.
Expect them to put together another talented draft class this year.
The Chiefs are the kings in the NFL right now, and all the other teams are racing to catch up.
