After yet another disappointing postseason run, the Philadelphia 76ers will have a big decision to make this summer.
James Harden can turn down his player option for next season and become a free agent this summer, and many feel he will be gone, one way or another.
There is a rumor that the Phoenix Suns could make a run at Harden, which would reunite him with Kevin Durant, his teammate with the Brooklyn Nets.
But Chris Broussard feels it won’t happen.
In fact, he feels Harden will go for big money and not a situation that would give him a shot at an NBA championship.

Broussard’s argument is that the star guard isn’t happy with being the No. 2 option behind league MVP Joel Embiid, and therefore he’d be even unhappier being the third option behind Durant and Devin Booker.
The analyst also said Phoenix would be better off going after some much-needed depth and role players rather than a big name such as Harden.
Even since the Suns traded for Durant in February, they have been hugely devoid of depth, which was a factor in them losing in the second round of the playoffs to the Denver Nuggets.
Although Harden is still an All-Star-level player, he is nearing his 34th birthday, and he has historically done poorly in big playoff games, especially elimination games.
A hot rumor has him going back to the Houston Rockets, a team that is early in a rebuilding phase and likely won’t be returning to the NBA Playoffs anytime soon, making it seem as if Harden doesn’t care about winning his first world championship.
