Just a few days ago, college basketball fans were rocked by the news of John Calipari leaving his post as head coach of Kentucky.
Since Calipari is departing the school, someone has to replace him, but who?
DeMarcus Cousins appeared on “All The Smoke Productions” and offered a name: former NBA star and Kentucky native Rajon Rondo.
To make that idea even more tantalizing, Rachel Nichols played a clip of Rondo recently saying that he could focus on being a coach soon.
Could his first coaching job be with his former college?
Boogie Cousins has announced who he wants as the next @KentuckyMBB’s basketball coach: @RajonRondo
New episode of Bully Ball with @Rachel__Nichols, @boogiecousins, and @DarthAmin just dropped on the All The Smoke Productions YouTube.

Rondo spent 16 years in the NBA, playing for a number of teams like the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, and others.
He was a two-time champion, four-time All-Star, three-time assists champion, and steal champion too.
Rondo was always celebrated as one of the best floor generals in the league with a brilliant basketball mind to go with his amazing skills.
That is why many people believe that he would make an excellent coach.
As his career wound down over the last several years, there was a lot of speculation about what’s next for Rondo.
At 38 years old, he has much he can do in the years ahead.
If he were to venture into coaching, he would love to work for his old school.
But Kentucky will have a lot of options and that job will be one of the most coveted in all of sports.
Even if Rondo doesn’t get the position with Kentucky, he will probably be in the running for another college or NBA job in the future.
He has the skills and the interest so it may be a matter of time before Rondo finds a coaching job.
