Draymond Green Calls Out Chris Finch After Game 3 Loss

The Minnesota Timberwolves have stumbled upon an obstacle they might not be able to overcome.

Two of their three best players haven’t shown up to play at all, and Anthony Edwards hasn’t lived up to his usual scoring prowess.

Edwards has still been a factor on defense and as a facilitator, and he was better and more aggressive in Game 3.

However, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert were no-shows again, and it’s about time something changed.

That’s why Draymond Green believes this situation is Chris Finch’s fault.

Talking after the game, the four-time NBA champion stated that Coach Finch shouldn’t expect different results after doing the same thing over and over (via NBA on TNT).

Draymond: “At some point, Chris Finch has got to make an adjustment … We can’t worry about KAT or Rudy Gobert’s feelings. They need Naz Reid out there and they need Kyle Anderson out there.” pic.twitter.com/YEXkJb7vtQ

Beyond adjusting the game plan, he stated that Finch must bench Towns and Gobert and stop worrying about their feelings, adding that they need Naz Reid and Kyle Anderson out there.

As harsh as that may sound, he’s right on point.

Reid has been way more efficient, aggressive, and impactful on the offensive end of the floor, and Anderson has played some elite defense, even against bigger opposition.

It’s a major issue that the two highest-paid players on the team have become unplayable when it actually counts, but it’s time to make adjustments.

Time and time again, Gobert and Towns have shown that they cannot be trusted in big moments, and sticking with the same plan has backfired for this team.

It’s win-or-go-home time for the Timberwolves, and Finch might be forced to make a tough call.
