The Los Angeles Lakers managed to dodge a huge disaster with Anthony Davis’ injury.
The star power forward took an accidental elbow from Kevon Looney to the face, and he was escorted out of the arena in a wheelchair.
Some feared Davis could miss the remainder of the series as he could enter the league’s concussion protocol.
However, others — such as Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley — actually made fun of Davis, which rubbed plenty of people the wrong way.
That’s why Draymond Green took some time on his podcast to call out to those who made fun of Davis, citing that a blow to the head could actually change a person’s life.
Green added that professional athletes are literally putting their lives at risk every single time they set foot on the court.

Davis has a long history of injuries, and people have often called him out for not being available when it matters the most.
But it’s not like he’s purposely trying to get hurt, and he had been quite dominant in this series for the most part.
There’s no place in sports for mockery of injured players.
Injuries are the worst part of sports, and the game will always be better when the best players are on the court.
The Warriors would obviously have a huge edge if Davis were to miss time, but the players would never say that they’d rather not play against him because of injuries.
Fortunately, Davis didn’t only avoid injury, but also a potentially life-changing event.
