On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the San Francisco 49ers in blowout fashion.
This was surprising for many, eliciting a strong response from several Eagles players, including rookie Jalen Carter.
Carter was seen crying on the sideline, which caused NFL fans to criticize him for being too emotional during a game.
He responded to this hate on his Instagram, which was shared on Twitter by Eagles Nation.
Carter’s response talked about the fact that he might have been crying, but he is doing well for himself as a member of the Eagles.

He challenged the fans who spoke out against him, indicating that they are broke and that he is wealthy.
Being a first-round NFL Draft pick comes with certain perks, none more tantalizing for a young player than a massive payday.
Carter seems to be basking in his success and not taking any of this negativity to heart.
He has been an impactful player on the Eagles’ defensive line throughout the year and looks to continue that for the rest of the season.
Through 12 games, Carter has amassed 26 tackles and four sacks, which are impressive totals given the strength of the Eagles’ defensive front.
The Eagles are said to have one of the league’s best defensive lines, and Carter has joined an elite unit.
Despite this loss, the Eagles still control their destiny.
They still hold the top spot in the NFC, and as long as they can win out, they will maintain that positioning.
