Fans React To Luka Doncic’s Physique Change

It didn’t take long before Luka Doncic showed the Dallas Mavericks that he was a generational talent.

He’s already one of the most dominant offensive players the game has ever seen.

But as unique and mesmerizing as he is, he’s often looked slightly overweight and out of shape, which leads to him being worn out late in games, especially in the postseason.

That’s why he’s been putting in some work in the offseason – again – and is looking slimmer than ever.

However, it seems like the fans aren’t buying it or falling for it this time, as it would be the third straight offseason that ‘skinny Doncic’ becomes an internet sensation.

High-usage players like Doncic need to be in top form always.

Nikola Jokic went through the same thing.

He was a bit overweight and was completely exhausted and gassed late in games.

He got to the bubble looking slim and in the best shape of his career, and that led to him winning back-to-back MVPs and leading the Denver Nuggets to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

Doncic is still quite young and while he’s not a super athlete by any means, he can still get in top shape and maintain it throughout the course of his career.

That’s the only thing seemingly holding him back from being an MVP and taking his game to a whole new level, so let’s hope he takes a page from Nikola Jokic’s — not James Harden’s — book.
