The Los Angeles Lakers are Hollywood’s team, and as such, it’s not uncommon to see multiple stars sitting courtside on their games.
That only becomes an even bigger trend when it’s playoff time.
Notably, Shannon Sharpe has become one of the loudest, most well-known Lakers fans in recent times.

So, it was only natural to see him in attendance for Game 4 when they hosted the Memphis Grizzlies.
However, given his history with the Grizzlies, the fans didn’t hesitate to crack some jokes and make some bold comments about him being on the sidelines.

For those who lack the context, Sharpe and some Grizzlies players got into a heated altercation earlier in the season.
Sharpe let Dillon Brooks know that he was too small to guard LeBron James, which led to a confrontation and even Ja Morant’s father trying to get into it.
Ironically, the Lakers wound up winning that game, and Sharpe wasn’t even ejected.
So, fans expected a bit of an encore or another incident when the Pro Football Hall of Famer was back in attendance for a key game, but fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Sharpe had already apologized for his actions and claimed that he had been out of line, and the Grizzlies also knew better than to try and get into a fight with a fan.
Still, the Lakers are now 2-0 against the Grizzlies when Sharpe is on the court, so maybe they’ll want to fly him in for Wednesday’s night game in Memphis.
