For years, people have speculated about the future of Bronny James in the NBA.
He went from being an afterthought to potentially a top-10 pick, and now he’s not even projected to be drafted at all.
Even so, LeBron’s firstborn has declared for the NBA Draft, all while maintaining his college eligibility and entering the transfer portal as well.
With that in mind, former NBA star Baron Davis claimed that he should definitely turn pro right away, adding that he might be a better pro than a college basketball player (via TMZ Sports).
That might not make sense at first, but Davis believes he could benefit from a free-flowing and more spaced offense, as he has a high basketball IQ as a guard and can also shoot the ball.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time that a player is far from impressive at the collegiate level and then turns out to be a star in the league, and he does have a privileged gene pool.
Whatever the case, most scouts agree that Bronny could benefit greatly from staying in college for another year.
