The New York Jets made several interesting additions in the offseason, obviously headlined by Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers brought some new wideouts with him, including former Kansas City Chiefs Mecole Hardman.
He figured to have a prominent role in the team’s passing game alongside Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, but that hasn’t been the case thus far.
With that in mind, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the team could be looking to trade him.

He was inactive in Week 5’s win over the Denver Broncos and has barely been involved in the offense after signing a $4 million deal in free agency.
Hardman comes with plenty of experience and speed, and there should be plenty of teams looking to acquire him if he’s indeed available.
The Chiefs could definitely use him back, as Patrick Mahomes has struggled to find any consistent contributors beyond Travis Kelce.
Albeit not common to see divisional foes swapping pieces, the New England Patriots could also add some speed to bolster their unimpressive receiving corps, and the Pittsburgh Steelers could also use a helping pair of hands.
The Jets offense has looked much better over the past couple of weeks, with Zach Wilson finally looking comfortable out there.
But if they don’t have a use for Hardman and feel confident about the current group of position players they have at their disposal, they should look to cash in on the former Super Bowl champion.
He’d be a low-risk/high-reward pickup for at least five or six teams in the league.
