Now that NBA regular season is almost done, we are finding out who led the league in many ways.

It’ll still be some time before we know who is the MVP, but we do know who will be the scoring leader of the association.

As noted by ESPN Stats & Info, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers will become the first center to win back-to-back scoring titles since Bob McAdoo did it three straight times from 1974-76.

Embiid cannot finish with less than an average of 32.6 points per game.

Luka Dončić will finish the season with 32.4 points per game. Joel Embiid can’t finish worse than 32.6.

Embiid’s numbers push him past Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, who averaged 32.4 points per game this year.

This is just the latest success for Embiid’s incredible season.

It may not be the last.

Since the start of the year, Embiid has been spoken of as a possible MVP.

But in the last few weeks, Embiid has become the frontrunner for that prize.

It was neck-and-neck between him and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets but current conventional wisdom suggests that Embiid has the upper hand and will likely secure the trophy for the first time.

Embiid has been runner-up for MVP twice now so he is definitely ready to win it.

He might be the MVP and he’ll definitely be the top scorer, but what he really wants is to be on the league’s championship team.

The 76ers are the third seed, which means they will face off against the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the playoffs.

Although the Nets could surprise, most people assume the Sixers will be able to move to at least the second round.

That would bring Embiid one step close to the real trophy he wants: the Larry O’Brien trophy.
