The Seattle Mariners are on a roll right now.
On Saturday night, they cruised to a 10-3 victory over the defending World Series champion Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
Leading the way was reigning Rookie of the Year Julio Rodriguez, who put together a four-hit game against the defending champs.
No runs scored on Rodriguez’s hits, but he still managed to put together an impressive game and make some history in the process.
After Saturday’s win, Rodriguez had broken a record for most hits within a four-game span by a single player.
Heading into Sunday’s game, Rodriguez has 17 hits in that span.
On Twitter, Sarah Langs pointed out how Rodriguez was able to break this record and who held the record previously.

In 1974, Bake McBride tied the record that had been set by Ty Cobb in 1902, which Cobb himself later tied in 1927.
Prior to Saturday’s four-hit barrage from Rodriguez, the record for most hits in a four-game span was 13.
The reigning Rookie of the Year and two-time All-Star shattered that mark on Saturday with yet another impressive game against the defending World Series champs.
In doing so, he bumped his batting average up to .278 on the season.
In 510 at-bats, Rodriguez has 21 home runs and 79 RBI.
He has also stolen 33 bases.
The 22-year-old simply continues to get better, even after an impressive rookie season.
He is not experiencing any sort of sophomore slump, and now has set an impressive MLB record in just his second full season in the Major Leagues.
