Justin Jefferson Makes His Thoughts Clear On Latest Vikings QB

After an impressive five-game winning streak, in which the Minnesota Vikings had to deal with injuries to stars Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson, the team has come back down to earth with three losses in four games.

Along with going through a rough stretch, the team has made another change at the quarterback position, with the team sending Josh Dobbs to the bench in favor of Nick Mullens, who has been made the starter moving forward.

With the Vikings still having a chance to be playoff-bound, Jefferson, who has returned to the field after dealing with a chest injury suffered in the win over the Las Vegas Raiders, talked about the switch to Mullens and whether he agrees with the move.

Jefferson seems content with Mullens moving forward, as he believes the backup has been playing well since being promoted to the starting job under center, via James Palmer of NFL Network.

The Vikings will need Mullens to play his best football in the final three games of the regular season in order to keep their playoff hopes alive, as mediocre play won’t cut it, especially with two of the last three games being played against the division-leading Detroit Lions.

The team’s only hope for a trip to the postseason might be beating the Lions twice in the final stretch, but it remains to be seen whether Minnesota has what it takes to take down Jared Goff and company twice over the course of three weeks, which is a daunting task, to say the least.
