Kevin Durant and the rest of the Phoenix Suns were shocked by the Denver Nuggets in Game 1.

Even though they were the No. 1 seed in the West this season, the Nuggets weren’t favored by many entering this series.

However, Michael Malone and his players were on a mission and even when the Suns tried, they couldn’t do anything against Denver.

Following the game, Durant reflected on this match, saying that the Nuggets were the No. 1 seed this year for a reason.

“Hell no! They’re the No. 1 seed for a reason.”

Kevin Durant said he wasn’t surprised by how well the Nuggets played, and that the Suns have their work cut out for them.

Durant made it clear that he wasn’t surprised by the display from the Nuggets, but vowed to be better in Game 2.

After last night’s game, it’s obvious that the Suns still have work to do.

Jamal Murray took over this game and dominated the competition.

He had 34 points in the game, scoring from every place on the court.

Besides that, Nikola Jokic played like he normally does, adding 24 points.

Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. showed why they can be the X-factors in this series.

They defended, fought for rebounds, facilitated for their teammates, and more.

The Nuggets are a well-rounded team and perhaps many people are realizing how good they are right now.

But Durant knew what he was facing before the Suns were swept off the court.

Game 2 is scheduled for Monday, and many fans, especially Suns fans, hope to see a better game.
