The Golden State Warriors missed a huge chance to close out their first-round series on Friday.
The 2022 NBA champions had everything lined up to beat the Sacramento Kings and advance to the next round.
However, an incredible response by the Kings ruined the Warriors’ plans.
They’re now heading back to Sacramento for the seventh and final game of this series, ready to upset the Kings again.
Speaking on this upcoming game, Klay Thompson had some things to get off his chest, sending a warning to his rivals.

It’s pretty obvious that the Warriors didn’t want to make it to this game, but the Kings forced their hand.
Before the start of the playoffs, this series was considered one of the most competitive.
After six games, we can confirm these two teams weren’t messing around.
Now, the Dubs will have the chance to beat the Kings at home again, as they did in Game 5.
The Warriors have hope that they can make something happen at Golden1 Center, even with their bad away record during the regular season.
Nevertheless, Steve Kerr and co. will need to make some changes after their poor showing in Game 6.
Klay Thompson posted 22 points while Stephen Curry added 29, but the rest of the team couldn’t do much to beat Sacramento.
Jordan Poole has struggled to make an impact in this series, and while he’s not making much of an impact, Malik Monk is doing the opposite for the Kings.
Stephen Curry named Monk the X-factor for the Kings in this series, and their focus on him will be crucial for the next game.
This match will define the next Los Angeles Lakers rival and both teams will try everything to stay alive in the postseason.
