The NFL community was shaken up recently, as it was announced that Larry Allen passed away suddenly at 52 years old.
Allen was a 14-year NFL veteran, an offensive lineman who spent a lot of time with the Dallas Cowboys and also played for the San Francisco 49ers for a short time.
After hearing of Allen’s passing, many analysts and former players took to social media to express their condolences.
Marcus Spears talked about this on the NFL on ESPN, highlighting his thoughts on Allen.
“[Larry’s] impact would resonate throughout a locker room… I think he’s the greatest offensive lineman to ever play in the NFL,” Spears said.

Spears had nothing but positive things to say about Allen, who is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
He has been generally regarded as one of the most dominant offensive linemen of all time, and Spears thinks he is the best of all time.
Allen was a part of the Cowboys’ Super Bowl in 1995, where they took down the Pittsburgh Steelers in an epic matchup.
Allen’s legacy will not soon be forgotten, both within the Cowboys’ organization and around the NFL as a whole.
Fans will likely continue to talk about him and his impact on the game for the foreseeable future, as he was a fantastic example for the NFL.
Allen stayed out of the spotlight off the field and had a drama-free career.
It was evident that he loved the game of football, and wanted to play it at the highest possible level at all times.
