People are still talking about LeBron James’ commanding performance over the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this week when the four-time champion scored 19 points in the final quarter and led his team to an astounding 21-point comeback win.
On Friday’s episode of Undisputed, Michael Irvin celebrated James and reminded fans that he is NBA royalty.
“LeBron James is the King!” Irvin cheered, before saying that the “king took over” the other night in the game against the Clippers and made a definitive statement.

Irvin reiterated the fact that Wednesday night’s game against the Clippers was the last time both LA teams met in the regular season while sharing an arena.
When the 2024-25 season kicks off in the fall, the Clippers will have a brand new home, and Crypto.com Arena will belong only to the Lakers.
That wasn’t lost on James, Irvin claims, and it influenced his performance because he wanted to make a point and prove something.
He definitely did that.
James went wild during the 116-112 win over the Clippers, scoring 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists while shooting 7-of-12 from the three-point line.
It was an exhilarating performance for Lakers fans, especially since the team was lacking so much for the first three quarters.
James’ output would have been impressive no matter what, but the fact that he is doing all of this at 39 years old only attracts more attention.
He is now on the cusp of scoring 40,000 career points, something that no other NBA player has ever done.
Between his work against the Clippers and earning yet another spot in NBA history, James really is having a week fit for a king.
