Mina Kimes Questions Colts’ Handling Of Jonathan Taylor Situation

The Indianapolis Colts have been under fire lately due to the recent developments with Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor requested a trade from the Colts, who tried to help institute a deal.

However, when the alleged demands from the Colts were made public, fans and analysts quickly criticized their outlandish requests.

In a recent installment of “Around the Horn” on ESPN, Mina Kimes jumped in wondering what the Colts were after.

Kimes asked, “If the Colts aren’t serious about trying to seek a trade, what do they want?”

One of the Colts’ alleged requests was for Jaylen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins, one of the league’s top young receivers.

Kimes quickly scoffed at this potential offer, outlining Waddle’s value to a team against Taylor’s.

Regardless of what any pundit says, Taylor was not traded from the Colts.

As a result, Taylor is on the PUP list and is ineligible to play until at least Week 5 of the regular season.

The Colts didn’t extend him to a long-term deal and refused to play ball with any trade partners.

Many believe this situation will drive a further wedge between Taylor and the front office.

Without Taylor, the Colts’ running game begins the season at a massive disadvantage.

Anthony Richardson should provide some value on the ground, but his overall potential is capped as a QB.
