During his career in the NBA, star point guard Rajon Rondo defied the odds, as he started his playing days on the professional level on a Boston Celtics stacked with Hall of Famers, who were ready to win a title.
Even though Rondo was young and inexperienced, he earned the respect of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, as the team went on to win an NBA title in 2008 over the arch-rival Los Angeles Lakers.
Ironically enough, over a decade later, Rondo won a second title while playing a pivotal role on the Lakers, sharing the basketball floor with superstars and future Hall of Famers in LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
It is uncertain whether Rondo will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame at this time, but he might eventually make a case for the nod.
However, he has left an impact on current players in the league, with Terance Mann of the Los Angeles Clippers admittedly carrying a Rondo card wherever he goes because he attributes it to the success he’s had in the NBA up to this point, via “Run It Back.”

As Mann points out, his NBA career has only continued to get better and better since carrying the Rondo card around, so it is unlikely that habit will stop anytime soon as he tries to make a name for himself and win a title with the Clippers moving forward.
Mann may be nothing more than a role player during his playing career in the league, but he’s made an impact with the Clippers and has been pivotal to the team’s success.
