With the 2023 NFL Draft right around the corner on April 27, the top-tier prospects expected to be taken in the first round of the draft are becoming more apparent.
The one position that is getting a lot of attention right now is at quarterback, with four to five players potentially getting the call from an NFL team in the first round.
Four prospects, in particular, have been getting the most buzz, with Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis expected to be the first quarterbacks taken, and possibly in that order.
Although these four players will likely be off the board before the second round begins, Hendon Hooker, out of the University of Tennessee, could also be selected in the first round, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

As usual, anything can happen when it comes to the NFL Draft, with teams frequently changing their stance on players.
Hooker is a player that could move up draft boards in the weeks leading up to draft day on April 27, as teams not currently targeting a quarterback in the first round may decide to roll the dice.
Along with Hooker potentially moving up draft boards for teams around the league, one or more of the four top prospects at the position could start to fall down draft boards.
With two more weeks of evaluations and opinions on players being expressed publicly, there’s no telling what exactly may happen in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft on April 27, as Hooker could very well find out his fate on the first day of the draft.
