Tom Brady was still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL at 45 years old.
He won a Super Bowl at 43, and Peyton Manning did the same at 39.
However, some analysts and fans seem to think that 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers is done.
Fortunately, that’s not the case with his colleagues and those who know how great at his craft he is.
In a quarterback survey conducted by FOX, 15 out of 38 quarterbacks agreed that Aaron Rodgers was the smartest passer in the game:
That’s not only an overwhelming majority among vote-getters but also a somewhat obvious statement.
Rodgers is perhaps the most accurate passer the game has ever seen.
He doesn’t put the ball in harm’s way, and it just seems like defensive players never even stand a chance to snatch the football away from the offense.
It seems like Rodgers’ bad reputation and missing a season due to injury has made people forget just how great of a passer he is.
If anything, the fact that he’s only won one Super Bowl despite his incredible talent is the only knock on his otherwise perfect résumé.
We didn’t see him decline in his final year with the Green Bay Packers.
They had a subpar and unproven receiver room, and he still put up solid numbers.
Now, he has a revamped offensive line and a plethora of talent around him, not to mention plenty of motivation to remind every single one of his doubters that he’s still a very, very bad man on the field.
