The New York Knicks were the talk of the NBA during their impressive playoff run that led them all the way to Game 7 of the second round where they suffered an embarrassing loss at home to the Indiana Pacers that saw them allow 130 points and give up an NBA playoff-record 67.1% shooting to the Pacers.
Injuries proved to be their ultimate undoing, and the Knicks made the entire run without their star forward Julius Randle, and betting odds are now providing an early indicator for which team is most likely to acquire Randle this offseason should the Knicks decide they are better off without him.
Stefan Bondy of The New York Post shared odds from BetOnline that has the Washington Wizards as a 3/1 favorite to acquire Randle this offseason with the Detroit Pistons at 4/1 and Brooklyn Nets at 5/1.

The top-five is rounded out by the Toronto Raptors at 7/1 and the Cleveland Cavaliers at 10/1, which is a list that would have to make Randle cringe if he saw it.
Trading Randle doesn’t seem like something that is at the top of the Knicks’ priority list this offseason, as the team is just now starting to see the foundation of something potentially special, and they shouldn’t mess with it before seeing what this unit looks like with Randle in the mix alongside Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, OG Anunoby, Mitchell Robinson, and Isaiah Hartenstein.
If the Wizards are the most likely trade partner, one would have to wonder what the Knicks would even get in return.
The Wizards don’t have much to immediately help the Knicks, so we’ll see if this has any real chance of happening.
