Over the past few years in professional sports, the debate over who is the greatest player of all time has become a popular topic of discussion.
Usually, the NBA debate over the greatest player of all time is talked about the most with a real argument between LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
The GOAT debate in the NFL is a bit different; with so many different positions, it is hard to say which player is the greatest of all time.
Most players would go with the recently retired Tom Brady due to his seven Super Bowl titles, which is something that another player might never match.
However, Ernest Jones of the Los Angeles Rams believes that his teammate Aaron Donald is the greatest player ever to lace them up.

This is a bold statement by Jones, to say the least.
Although Donald has undoubtedly made a solid case to be considered the greatest defensive player in NFL history, as he can be viewed in the same light as Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, saying he’s the best might be kind of a stretch.
However, Jones is biased due to playing alongside Donald for the last two seasons and winning a Super Bowl title with him in the 2021 campaign.
As a seven-time All-Pro, three-time Defensive Player of the Year and a Super Bowl champion, Donald has quite the resume and will be in the Hall of Fame once it is all said and done, but being called the greatest football player of all time is a little over the top.
