Ravens Coach Provides Hilarious Soundbite From Minicamp

The Baltimore Ravens are set to enter the 2023 NFL Season with newfound expectations, especially with a new-look offense.

Todd Monken is the Ravens’ new offensive coordinator, which likely indicates that the team’s passing volume will increase significantly.

As a likely result of their new OC, the team has made significant investments in the wide receiver position throughout the offseason.

They used first-round draft capital on Zay Flowers and signed Odell Beckham Jr to a one-year deal as well.

The team recently shared a clip of Beckham making a one-handed catch from minicamp, a play that was lauded by his teammates.

However, assistant wide receivers coach Keith Williams was quick to shut down other players from attempting this, saying, “I like that type of stuff, only from him!”

Beckham, of course, is famous for making a one-handed, outstretched grab for a touchdown when he was a part of the New York Giants.

He has eight years of NFL experience and knows what it takes to succeed as a receiver in this league.

While a catch like this is certainly impressive, it could send the wrong message to his fellow teammates, many of which have limited NFL experience.

This was likely why Williams was quick to make this comment to the young receivers, making it known that they should focus on fundamentals.

The Ravens are hoping to make a splash in the AFC North, which has been dominated by the Cincinnati Bengals over the past two seasons.
