The Chicago Bears made huge strides in the offseason.
Adding Keenan Allen, D’Andre Swift, Rome Odunze, and Caleb Williams to the team could finally take their offense to a whole new level after years of struggles.
Their defense is already one of the best in the game, and they now have everything they need to be one of the most improved teams in the league, at least on paper.
That’s why, in the latest edition of his show, Rich Eisen made a bit of a bold statement.
He claimed that he had been thinking about the Bears and their potential best-case scenario next season, and he thinks it could look quite similar to what the Houston Texans accomplished with CJ Stroud last season.
However, instead of making it to the divisional round, he thinks that in the best possible scenario, this team could actually make it all the way to the Super Bowl (Via Clay Harbor).
Rich Eisen thinks the best case for the Bears this year isn’t the playoffs.. It’s the Super Bowl.. #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears pic.twitter.com/rOZePzbjzV

He thinks that there’s a chance that Williams turns out to be as good as CJ Stroud right out of the gate, and he thinks their situation is quite similar in the sense that they also have a defensive-minded coach with a strong defensive roster.
Of course, it’s not that Eisen is saying that the Bears will 100% make it to the Super Bowl; it’s just that they could potentially do it with the pieces they’ve put together.
It’s not going to be easy, and it might not happen, but history is made in this league every year.
