The NBA playoffs are officially here, a time that has been exciting for teams and fans.

There are only four teams left in the playoff race, meaning that there will be a new NBA Finals champion in the coming weeks.

While the playoffs have already provided some fireworks and excitement, the upcoming draft is an event that is still at the forefront of many people’s minds.

There isn’t a player like Victor Wembanyama in this year’s class, but there are a few other players who could make an immediate impact on the team that drafts them.

One of the class’s most polarizing players is Bronny James, who received considerable criticism for his play in college.

It was a bit of a surprise to many people when James entered this year’s draft pool, especially since his time at USC wasn’t as productive as was originally anticipated.

After hearing all of the hate over the past several months, Robert Griffin III seemingly heard enough of the criticism and took to Twitter to express his thoughts.

“People need to stop hating on Bronny James,” Griffin said.

He added, “Bronny’s 3 and D game translates to the NBA game and didn’t show up at USC because he was fighting for his life in the offseason.”

People need to STOP HATING on Bronny James. Lebron and Bronny on the same team would be MUST WATCH TV and would be history worth celebrating. Bronny’s 3 and D game translates to the NBA Game and didn’t show up at USC because he was FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE in the offseason. pic.twitter.com/OVyqty7783

Griffin believes that James was unable to flourish at the collegiate level for a few reasons, but the main one was that he was off the court for several weeks, hoping to get his health situation under control.

To Griffin, if James is able to take the time to train and get fully healthy before his NBA debut, there’s no telling what his career ceiling could be.
