The Los Angeles Clippers traveled to the desert and stole Game 1 from the Phoenix Suns.
Against all odds, and despite not having Paul George, Tyronn Lue’s team handed the Suns their first loss of the Kevin Durant era after going 8-0 in the regular season.
The Clippers hit the ground running and led by double digits for most of the first half.
The Suns fought their way back into the game and even managed to get the lead back, but they couldn’t hold on or keep that same intensity level for the full 48 minutes.
Also, when it comes to intensity, no one can best Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook had arguably the greatest 3-for-19 performance in NBA history, grabbing some huge offensive rebounds and playing with unmatched energy in the fourth quarter.
He even capped it off by locking up Devin Booker with an emphatic block late in the game, and you know that adrenaline rush didn’t go away for a while.
So, when a heckling fan tried to get in Westbrook’s face as he walked towards the locker room, the former MVP simply wasn’t having it and warned the Suns fan to keep his mouth shut.

Of course, it didn’t take long before security intervened and escorted Russ to the locker room, with the heckler talking trash as Westbrook walked away.
This isn’t the first time that Westbrook got into a heated altercation with a rival fan, but it’s not like he’s asking for trouble out there.
For whatever reason, hecklers have become fond of messing with the one player that’s just not going to have it, maybe for clout or whatever.
