The New York Knicks managed to avoid a catastrophe and held their own to even things up at one game apiece vs. the Miami Heat.

But even though they stayed alive to secure this series goes to at least five games, Shannon Sharpe isn’t so sure about their chances.

Sharpe pointed out the fact that they struggled to beat a Heat team that was missing their two leading scorers in Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro, not to mention that Jalen Brunson wasn’t at his best again this time around.

.@ShannonSharpe says Knicks are in trouble despite their Game 2 win vs. Miami:

The Pro Football Hall of Famer believes things will get uphill once the series heads to South Beach, especially if Butler is back on the floor, and he might as well be right.

Even with Julius Randle back on the floor, the Heat were the most physical team all night long.

Bam Adebayo was a huge factor on defense, taking care of both Randle and Mitchell Robinson despite being outnumbered and outsized.

Butler missed the game with a sprained ankle, but the reports state that the injury isn’t that serious, so he’s expected to be back on the court for Game 3.

He was playing like the best player on Earth in the playoffs, and he was spotted smiling and nodding his head around after the loss, so you better believe he’s keeping receipts and is thirsty for revenge.

Tom Thibodeau has historically struggled to make adjustments, whereas Erik Spoelstra has thrived.

The Knicks may have tied this up, but not for long.
