The Phoenix Suns managed to tie things up when the series headed back to the Valley of the Sun, but the Denver Nuggets stormed right back at home to take a 3-2 series lead.

Both teams will square off in the desert again on Thursday night for a pivotal, win-or-go-home clash for the home side, and oddsmakers and fans seem to be on the fence about who’s going to win.

Shannon Sharpe believes the game will be close and go down the stretch, but he thinks the Suns could ultimately defend their court and force Game 7 on the road.

Sharpe pointed out that the Suns need a third guy to step up besides Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

Moreover, he claimed Durant hasn’t been shooting the ball well and has been turning the ball over often in this series, giving the Nuggets credit for how they’ve put him in tough spots with those double teams and full-court pressure.

As for Booker, one didn’t have to be a basketball savant to realize that his historical shooting was simply unsustainable.

As efficient a scorer as he is, there’s just no way a player could shoot 80% from the floor throughout an entire playoff run.

The Nuggets have done an elite job defensively, but it’s also a fact that the Suns are a two-man show right now.

Booker and KD are two dominant scorers who could go off for 35+ each, and that will always give their team a chance to win.

But as of now, this seems like a bit of a toss-up.
